Oh, folks, this is such an awesome, AWESOME cocktail! If you don’t know it and haven’t deciphered the name yet let me tell you what it is: it’s a Margarita + Lager. Oh, boy! Not only is it super-delicious, it also somehow manages to be both refreshing and really sumptuous. To any British reader out there: think of it as a refined version of Shandy.
It’s also genius in the way it makes you feel (apart from drunk, that is). Cause, look, you have the glamorous ”I’m gonna party all night long and somehow look stunning through it all”–feel of a Margarita. But you also have the hipster-chill-out-feel of a lager. Like ”If I stick to these all night I will still be able to run that fixed gear race tomorrow, no sweat!” In other words: Drinking it will make you feel like A GLAMOROUS HIPSTER. Which is – omg, eureka, new trend-alert – pretty much what I’m aiming for right now! People, what shall we call it? Glamster? Normcore Noveau? Any other ideas?
If you’re in Stockholm I suggest you drink your summer Lageritas at the new hipster mecka in town: Radio Skanstull. If you’re hungry, have a lobster roll to go with it. A lobster roll is, as we all know, a lobster with mayo, in a bun. Does it get any more GLAMSTER than that? Lageritas & lobster rolls – gimme!
